Orders that reach the kitchen instantly.
Every confirmed order - counter, table, QR or aggregator - lands in the kitchen as a KOT, routed to the right station, timed and tied to its table.
Functionality
What DINO KOT does
Instant KOTs from every source
Orders from the counter, the waiter’s screen or the customer’s own phone via QR ordering fire into the kitchen the moment they’re confirmed - no runner, no relay. Explore →
Captain app at the table
Waiters take orders on the handheld Captain App - the KOT fires from the tableside, with table management and additional KOTs a tap away. Explore →
Multi-station routing
Tandoor, wok, fryer, beverages - each item on an order routes to its own station, so every section of the kitchen sees exactly what it has to make.
Aggregator orders join the queue
Swiggy and Zomato orders, aggregated through Urban Piper, arrive as KOTs like any other order - one kitchen queue, not a shelf of tablets.
Timed and tied to the table
Every KOT carries its table, its time and its items - the kitchen knows what to make, for whom, and how long it’s been waiting.
Additions ride the same trail
A second round from the same table fires as a fresh KOT tied to the same bill - the kitchen sees the addition, the bill stays whole.
Feeds the kitchen display
KOTs land on kitchen display screens, where cooks work the queue and mark dishes as they go. Explore →
Outcomes
What changes in the kitchen
No more lost slips
The handwritten KOT - misread, mislaid, hand-carried - is gone. Orders arrive complete and legible, every time.
Zero paper.Food fires sooner
The KOT is in the kitchen before the waiter leaves the table - minutes saved on every order.
Faster fire.Stations stop shouting
Each station sees its own queue instead of deciphering a shared slip - coordination happens on screen.
Calm at the pass.Delivery joins the discipline
Aggregator orders enter the same queue as dine-in - one kitchen rhythm across channels.
One queue.Questions, answered.
How does a KOT reach the kitchen?
Digitally and instantly. When an order is confirmed - at the counter, at the table or via QR ordering - the KOT appears in the kitchen, routed to the right station.
Can KOTs route to different kitchen stations?
Yes. Items route to their stations - tandoor, wok, beverages and so on - so each section sees only what it has to prepare.
Do Swiggy and Zomato orders come in as KOTs too?
Yes. Aggregator orders, integrated through Urban Piper, land in the same KOT queue as dine-in and takeaway orders.
What happens when a table orders more mid-meal?
The addition fires as a fresh KOT tied to the same table and bill - the kitchen sees the new items, and the bill stays a single bill.
Is the KOT linked to billing?
Yes. The KOT and the bill are the same order - what the kitchen makes is exactly what the customer is billed for.
Do I still need paper KOT slips?
KOTs can drive kitchen display screens (KDS), so kitchens can run entirely off displays - cooks work from the screen and mark dishes as prepared.
